About ISSA KHARI
Issa Khari is a New York City-based photographer and USPA-accredited press photographer with over a decade of experience documenting the culture, fashion, and communities of New York City and beyond.
Issa's work spans multiple disciplines — fashion photography at New York Fashion Week (including shows for Marc Jacobs and Who Decides War), documentary and street photography, portrait work, aerial photography, and cultural event coverage at events like AfroPunk Brooklyn, NYC Pride, CultureCon, and the West Indian American Day Carnival. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Issa brings a documentary sensibility to every project — whether covering a major fashion show, photographing an emerging artist, or capturing life on the streets of New York.
His archive is a visual record of New York City's creative and cultural pulse from 2019 to the present. Issa's photographs are available as fine art prints, and he is available for editorial assignments, commercial photography, event coverage, portrait sessions, and photo licensing. He also shares photography vlogs, behind-the-scenes content, and photography education on YouTube. For booking and inquiries, visit the contact page.
